We are Breathe Care Services, a home care agency supporting people in Bromsgrove and across Worcestershire. We visit people in their own homes and provide the help that makes staying there possible, from personal care and medication support to meals, household tasks and company. Many of the people we support are older and living with conditions that have made daily life harder to manage alone. We support people living with dementia, where our aim is to keep routines familiar and unhurried and to work closely with families who know the person best. We also support younger adults and people living with a physical disability, where the emphasis tends to fall on independence and on keeping someone firmly in charge of their own day. We begin with a conversation in the person's home about how they like things done, what they still want to manage themselves, and where support would actually make a difference. The plan that follows is written down, agreed, and revisited when circumstances change. We keep the same carers going to the same households as far as our rota allows, because continuity is what makes care feel personal rather than administered. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We would rather families judged us by asking hard questions and meeting our carers than by anything we could write about ourselves.
