About Apollo Care
Apollo Care Wirral provides support at home to people across the Wirral. We work with older people and people living with dementia, and with younger adults who need support to live independently. Home is where most people would far rather be, and our job is to make that workable for as long as it safely can be. A visit might mean help with washing, dressing and medication first thing, support through the day with meals and mobility, keeping on top of the laundry and the house, or a hand to get out to the shops, the surgery or to see people. Very often the part that matters most is somebody familiar coming through the door with time for a proper conversation. For people living with dementia, familiarity is what helps most, so we work to send the same carers to the same households and brief them on the person rather than just the tasks. A carer who knows somebody notices when they are eating less, sleeping badly or becoming confused in a new way, and can raise it early. We plan care with the person and their family, write it plainly and review it as needs change. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall.
