About Leah Care-
Leah Care supports people in their own homes across Chichester and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. Staying put is what most people want when help becomes necessary, and our work is simply to make that practical for as long as it reasonably can be. We visit people living with dementia and people with physical disabilities, as well as anyone who needs a hand with the ordinary business of the day. Calls may cover personal care, dressing, meals, prompting or administering medication, and help with moving safely about the house. Where dementia is part of the picture we keep visits at consistent times with familiar faces, follow the routine someone already has rather than imposing a new one, and pay attention to the small signals that something has shifted. Where mobility is the main difficulty we look closely at the home itself, at what equipment helps and at how a day can be arranged so that fatigue does not swallow it. We would rather be honest about capacity than overcommit, so we will tell you plainly whether we can cover the times and the area you need. The Care Quality Commission has not yet issued us an overall rating. In the meantime we are glad to talk through how we recruit, train and supervise, and to arrange a conversation with families we already support so you can hear it from them instead of from us.
