About Kenilworth
We provide care at home to adults in Kenilworth and the surrounding part of Warwickshire. The people we visit include older people who need help to carry on living in their own houses, adults living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and younger adults who need support to live independently. Our visits cover personal care, prompting and support with medication, meals, laundry, shopping and help to get out to appointments or just out of the house for a while. Some people need half an hour first thing and nothing more. Others need several longer calls a day, and what somebody needs usually shifts over time, so we review arrangements properly rather than letting a plan go stale. We concentrate on two things. One is arriving when we said we would, because a visit at an unpredictable hour creates more worry than it relieves. The other is sending people the person already knows, because nobody should have to explain themselves afresh every week, and a familiar carer is the one who spots that something has changed. We are guests in the homes we work in. Our staff are expected to behave that way and to be straight with us when something needs putting right. If you are arranging support at home locally, please get in touch.
