About Orbis Care

Orbis Care provides care and support in people's own homes in Henley in Arden and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire. Our work is built around the life somebody already has, and the aim is to support it rather than reorganise it for our convenience. We support older adults with the tasks that have become harder: washing and dressing, medication, meals, keeping on top of the house and getting out when they choose. We support people living with dementia, where continuity does more good than anything else, so we protect it wherever the rota allows. We work with people living with mental health conditions, where a relationship built over time and early recognition of changes count for most, and with people who have physical disabilities, helping with personal care and mobility while leaving the person directing things. We support people with a visual or hearing impairment, adapting how we announce ourselves and explain, and younger adults, whose support is planned around work, study, family and independence. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather say that plainly here than leave a family to come across it later and wonder what else went unsaid. The areas identified are where our effort is going at present, and we are happy to discuss them openly with anyone considering us.
