Where somebody communicates in their own way, we learn how they do it rather than expecting them to adapt to us. Where the day needs to be predictable, we keep it predictable and prepare properly for the changes that cannot be avoided. We agree the support with the person rather than writing it about them, and we revisit it whenever circumstances shift.
