About Greenfield Care
Greenfield Care provides care and support in people's own homes across the London borough of Wandsworth. We work with older people, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. We try to begin in the right place, which is a conversation about somebody's actual life rather than a list of tasks. What does a good week look like? What gets in the way of it? What would you rather do yourself? Visit times follow from the answers, and we expect to change them, because lives move. For some of the people we support the work is personal care, medication and making the day run safely. For others it is quite different: somebody alongside them at college, at work, on the bus, at an appointment or through the early weeks of something new. We resource both properly rather than treating one as the real job. Consistency carries enormous weight here, particularly for autistic people and for anybody whose day depends on knowing what is coming. We keep the same small team around a person, give proper notice before anything changes, and hold to what we agreed even when a rota would rather we did not. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. We are happy to be asked directly about our training, our staffing and how we respond when something goes wrong.
