About Connect Nursing
We provide nursing and care support in people's own homes in Waltham Forest and the surrounding parts of London. Our work is to make it possible for people with substantial needs to stay in their own houses rather than move into a hospital or a care home. We support older people needing help with washing, dressing, meals and medication, people living with dementia, adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with a physical disability and people whose sight or hearing is impaired. We also support people working through problems with alcohol or drugs. Work of that kind depends on staff who are trained for the individual they are supporting rather than generally competent. We build small, well briefed teams around each person, we train to the specifics of their condition and their preferences and we keep close working relationships with the clinicians involved so that nothing falls between one part of the system and another. Plans are written with the person, in plain language, and reviewed openly as things change. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss support at home.
