About Key Care and Support
Key Care and Support provides care in people's own homes in Sale and across Trafford. We support older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia or with mental ill health, people with a learning disability, people who are autistic, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Most people who contact us want the same thing: to stay in their own home, with their own things around them, for as long as that is safe and comfortable. Our job is to make that possible in a practical way. We help with getting up and settling at night, washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and getting out of the house, and we build the package around the person rather than around a standard timetable. We think carefully about who visits whom. Familiar carers notice when somebody is eating less, sleeping badly or becoming muddled, and they can raise it before it turns into an emergency. Rotas are planned to protect that continuity as far as we possibly can. Where families are involved we keep them updated, always with the agreement of the person we support. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking into home care in Trafford, please get in touch and we will talk through the options with you honestly.
