About Beloved Homecare
We provide care at home in Trafford and the surrounding part of Manchester for older people, including a good deal of work with people living with dementia. We have chosen to do one thing rather than many, and that shapes how we work. Our visits are arranged around the person, not around a rota: help with washing and dressing at the time somebody actually gets up, support with medication, a hand with meals and the house, and company for people who see very few others in the course of a week. Dementia care is where continuity matters most. A carer who knows a person's history and habits can settle them when they are anxious, follow a conversation that has wandered and notice the change that means something is wrong. A stranger cannot do any of that, however competent. So we work hard at sending the same faces to the same homes, and we would rather turn work down than take on more than we can cover properly. Our carers are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and can reach senior colleagues whenever they need advice. Families are kept properly informed rather than rung only when something has gone wrong. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us outstanding overall.
