We are Ready4care Support, based in Tower Hamlets and supporting people in their own homes across the borough. We take that last group seriously rather than reluctantly. Support ranges from a short daily call to several visits covering personal care, medication, meals and help getting out and about. For some of the people we work with, what matters most is not the practical task at all but the fact that somebody reliable keeps turning up. We keep the same carers with the same households wherever the rota allows, train our staff for the work they actually do, and liaise with GPs, community teams and social workers.
