About Summerland Support
Here at Summerland Support, we provide home care to people living in Torquay and across the Torbay area, supporting individuals to remain in their own homes and live life on their own terms. We work with a wide range of people, including those with learning disabilities and autism, and we take time to understand what matters most to each person we support. No two people are the same, and we try hard to make sure our approach reflects that. Whether someone needs a little help with day to day tasks or more regular, consistent support throughout the week, we aim to build something that genuinely fits around their life rather than the other way around. Our team is made up of people who chose this kind of work because they want to make a real difference. We invest in their training and make sure they feel confident and well prepared, because we know that good support starts with good people. Continuity matters to us too. Wherever possible, we match people with carers they feel comfortable with and trust, because familiar faces make a real difference to how settled and secure someone feels at home. We are proud to hold a rating of "good" from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the standard of care we work to maintain every day.
