About Tinsensa Care – Domiciliary Care Service
Tinsensa Care is a home care agency in South Ockendon, supporting people in their own homes across Thurrock and the surrounding area. We work with older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia and people who have a physical disability. Nearly everybody we meet at a first visit says the same thing: they want to stay in their own home. Making that realistic for as long as it is safe and genuinely the better option is the whole of our purpose. In practice it means help to get up, washed and dressed in a way that leaves a person feeling like themselves, medication managed and recorded properly, meals actually cooked, help to move safely about a house that may no longer suit its occupant, and a reliable person turning up in a week that could otherwise hold very little. For families who have been carrying a situation alone, it also means a proper break. We are stubborn about sending the same carers to the same people. That continuity is the mechanism rather than the presentation: a carer who knows somebody notices the untouched food, the new bruise, the change in mood or the pile of unopened post. For people living with dementia, familiarity and an unhurried pace work better than explanation. For people with a physical disability, we learn how that individual wants to be helped to move. The Care Quality Commission has not yet given us an overall rating. Call us and we will be plain about what we can and cannot do.

More about the care at Tinsensa Care – Domiciliary Care Service
Dementia Care at Tinsensa Care – Domiciliary Care Service
Stubborn about sending the same carers to the same people is how this agency describes itself, and in dementia support that is the whole mechanism. A familiar carer at a familiar hour does not have to explain who they are before anything useful can happen. The agency also mentions an unhurried pace, which matters because most refusals at the door are really a response to being rushed. Good support means noticing distress early and coming back later rather than insisting. Ask what dementia training the carers have completed. Ask how the plan is revised as the condition progresses and who decides that it needs revising.
Home Care at Tinsensa Care – Domiciliary Care Service
Tinu registered this South Ockendon agency with the CQC on 27 October 2026, so there is a registration to check but no inspection report. Home care means visits at agreed times in a person's own house, which is the alternative to moving into a care home while that remains safe and the better option. Rates across the East of England typically fall between £28 and £33 an hour, and Thurrock will assess and may fund a package. The agency argues that continuity is the mechanism rather than the presentation, because a carer who knows somebody notices the untouched food or the new bruise. Ask how visits are recorded, and who a relative telephones at the weekend.
Older Person Care at Tinsensa Care – Domiciliary Care Service
Nearly everybody says the same thing at a first visit, according to this agency: they want to stay in their own home. The work that makes that realistic is help to get up, washed and dressed in a way that leaves a person feeling like themselves, medication managed and recorded, meals actually cooked, and a reliable knock at the door in a week that might otherwise hold very little. Tinsensa Care says it is stubborn about sending the same carers to the same people. For families who have been carrying a situation alone, it also means a proper break. Ask how long each call lasts and how many different carers would come in a fortnight. Ask what can be covered late in the evening.
Younger Adults at Tinsensa Care – Domiciliary Care Service
A week that could otherwise hold very little is this agency's own phrase, and for an adult under sixty five that cuts in a particular way. Work, study and friends are what the support has to fit around, not the reverse. Ask whether call times can move with a timetable, and whether the same small group of carers can be relied on.
Physical Disability at Tinsensa Care – Domiciliary Care Service
A house that may no longer suit its occupant is how this agency puts the problem, and that is what physical disability support at home has to work around. The practical content is transfers, personal care, and keeping whatever independence a person still has. Ask whether carers are trained on the equipment already in place, and who arranges an occupational therapy review when things change.
