About Purity Care

Purity Care provides home care to adults in Swindon and the surrounding area. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autism, and people with physical disabilities. Everything begins with what the person wants their day to look like. From there the support might include help with washing and dressing, medicines, meals, the household and shopping, or it might be about getting out to work, college, appointments and the places somebody likes to go. For younger adults it is frequently about building the practical skills independent living demands, and there we count it a success when we are needed less as time goes on. We put real effort into continuity. Being helped with personal care by somebody you have never met is a genuinely difficult thing to accept, so we keep the team around each person small and let you know in advance when it has to change. Where somebody communicates in their own way, we learn how they do it rather than expecting them to adapt to us, and where somebody has a physical disability we agree together how they want to be helped. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We ask the people we support, and their families, whether we are getting the everyday things right.
