About Court Lodge
Court Lodge supports adults living in and around Epsom in their own homes. We work with older people, with younger adults, with people who have learning disabilities or autism, and with people managing mental health conditions. The common thread is that everybody we visit has a life already under way, and our job is to make that life workable rather than to reorganise it. Our support ranges from short practical visits to much fuller arrangements through the day. That might mean help with personal care and medicines, a hand with meals and the household, or support to get to work, college, appointments and the places people simply like to go. For people with mental health needs, steadiness counts for a great deal, so we try to keep the same small team visiting and to notice early when someone seems less well than usual. We put a good deal of effort into the care plan, because a plan written properly at the start prevents most of the problems that come later. We ask how you want to be supported, what you would rather do yourself, what a bad day looks like and who you want us to contact if we are worried. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We would rather keep earning it than talk about it, and we ask the people we support directly whether we are getting things right.
