About Hayward Community Care
Hayward Community Care is a home care agency based in Wolverhampton, supporting people in their own homes across the area. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with people who have a learning disability, with autistic people, with people who have mental health needs, with people who have physical disabilities and with people who have sight or hearing loss. With that range of needs, we do not offer a standard package. We sit down with the person and anyone they want present, work out what the day actually needs to look like, and write the plan around that. It might be a short morning call, support with medication and meals, help with mobility and household tasks, or several longer visits where needs are higher. Plans are reviewed when circumstances change rather than left to go stale. Consistency is what makes care at home work, so we try to keep the same small team visiting each person. Our carers are trained for the particular needs of the clients they see and are expected to tell us promptly when something is not right. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We are registered with and regulated by them, and we are building the care planning, training and management oversight that a good rating properly requires. Anyone considering us is welcome to ask us difficult questions in the meantime.
