About Bagnall Heights Domiciliary Service
We are Bagnall Heights, and we provide domiciliary care to adults in their own homes in and around Stoke on Trent. We come to you, at times that suit your day, and we do what is needed so that living at home remains realistic. We help older people with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and the household jobs that become harder with time. We support adults living with dementia, where the same familiar care workers arriving at predictable times do more good than anything else we can offer, so we keep the rota as steady as we can. We also support people with physical disabilities, taking care over equipment and over how each person prefers to be assisted, people living with sight or hearing loss, where announcing ourselves clearly and giving information in a usable form is part of the job, and younger adults who want help that reduces over time. Everything starts with a visit and a proper conversation at home, with family or an advocate present if that is wanted. The plan is written with the person, records what matters to them, and is reviewed honestly. If a visit is going to be late we ring and say so.
