We are a home care agency based in Stafford, visiting people in their own homes across the town and the surrounding part of Staffordshire. Our work is with older adults and with younger adults, and we keep those two things distinct rather than putting everyone through the same routine. For the younger adults we support, the job is usually to make independence workable rather than to take things over. We start with a conversation and not a form. What can you still manage. What has become difficult. What would you rather we did not touch. From that we agree a plan, write it plainly, and revise it when things change, which they generally do. Visits run from half an hour upwards and cover personal care, medicines, meals, housework, shopping, appointments and company. We aim to send the same few workers to each household, because being let in by name matters more than any written procedure. We have not yet had a full inspection by the Care Quality Commission, so we have no rating to offer you. Call us and judge us on the visit instead.
