About Integrity Supported Living
We are Integrity Supported Living in Stafford, and we support people in their own homes across Staffordshire. The people we work with are a wide group: older people, many living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, adults living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, younger adults, and people dealing with problems with alcohol or drugs. Supported living means something definite to us. The home belongs to the person. Our support fits around the life they want rather than the other way round. And the aim is always to help somebody do a thing rather than to do it for them, because skills that get used are skills that stay. In practice that might mean help with personal care and medication, or cooking, shopping, managing money and post, keeping a tenancy in order, or getting out to work, college, appointments and the places somebody actually enjoys. Across all of it, what we offer most consistently is steadiness. Turning up when we said we would. Noticing when something has shifted. Not treating a difficult week as a crisis, and not judging anybody for it. For people in recovery and for those living with mental ill health, that reliability often matters more than any particular task. We have not yet had an overall rating published by the Care Quality Commission. We prefer to say so ourselves, and we welcome close questions about how we recruit and train.
