About Evaris Care
Evaris Care supports people in their own homes in Stafford and across Staffordshire. Most of the people we visit are older, and many are living with dementia. We also support adults with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities and with visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who want to live independently with the right help behind them. Home care works when it fits the person, so we do not offer a fixed menu. Some people want a short call to get the day started safely, with help washing, dressing and taking medication. Others need support at several points through the day, with meals, the house, shopping and getting out. Some mainly want the reassurance of a familiar knock at the door and someone to talk to. We plan care with the person and with whoever they want involved, put it in writing in plain language, and change it when their needs change. Our carers are trained for the conditions they will actually meet, particularly dementia, and we brief them properly before they attend a new call rather than sending them in cold. Timekeeping and consistency are what families notice, so we build rotas around continuity and let people know when we are delayed.
