It also means support to have a life worth having. Seeing family and friends, getting to work, college, groups or activities, and making the everyday decisions other adults make without thinking about them. Where somebody communicates in their own way, we learn how they do it. Where somebody has a physical disability, we agree together how they want to be helped. Where the day needs to be predictable, we keep it predictable and give proper warning of anything that must change. We agree the support with the person rather than writing it about them, and we revisit it whenever circumstances shift.
