About House of Care
House of Care provides support at home for people living in Redbridge and the surrounding parts of east London. Needing help should not mean giving up the house, the street and the routines somebody has built over many years, and our work is to make sure it does not. Our carers visit older people who need assistance with personal care, medication, meals, mobility or the household tasks that quietly become obstacles. We support people living with dementia, where a familiar home and a familiar face are among the most useful things anyone can offer. We also work with people living with a physical disability and with younger adults who want support that fits around work, study and a social life without taking over their decisions. Every plan starts with a conversation about how the person likes their day to run and what they would rather do themselves. We review arrangements as needs change, keep families in the picture where that is wanted, and plan our rounds carefully because being late is no small thing when somebody is waiting. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we prefer to say so at the outset. If you would like to talk about care at home, please get in touch and we will arrange to visit.
