About Spire Home Care & Training
Spire Home Care and Training supports people in their own homes in Ilford and across Redbridge. Carers are prepared for the people they will actually be supporting rather than given a general induction and sent out, and we brief them properly before a new call instead of expecting them to work it out at the door. Support itself is planned with the person. We visit first, talk it through with them and anyone they want present, and write down in plain language what help is needed, when and to what end. Then we review it, because needs at home rarely stay still. Redbridge is a varied borough and the households we go into differ enormously in language, food and family life. Getting those things right is ordinary good care, not an extra. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall.
