About SureCare
We provide care at home across Scunthorpe and the surrounding area, supporting older people, younger adults, people living with dementia or mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people affected by sight or hearing loss. Most people who ring us want much the same thing, which is to stay in their own home with a bit of reliable help. What that help looks like varies a great deal. It may be a short call each morning covering washing, dressing and medicines, or several visits a day taking in meals, mobility, shopping and housework, or support that fills the gaps around what family are already doing. Reliability is what we are judged on and rightly so. Arriving when we said, staying the full visit, and sending somebody who already knows the person and their home. We plan rotas around that and would rather grow slowly than take on more work than we can cover properly. Supporting someone with dementia or a mental health condition takes patience and a degree of skill. Our carers are trained to work at the person's pace, to notice when something has changed and to pass that on quickly so support can be adjusted before a problem develops. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We are happy to explain how we work and what we charge, and to answer any question you have before you decide.
