Our aim is to give people enough help to keep living where they want to live, arriving when we say we will and delivered by carers they know. We visit older people needing assistance with washing, dressing, meals and medication, and people living with dementia, where continuity of carer and a settled routine matter more than almost anything else. We support adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with a physical disability and people whose sight or hearing is impaired, along with younger adults needing support to live independently. Manchester is a mixed and busy city and our team reflects that. Between us we speak a number of languages, and we will always try to match somebody with a carer they can talk to easily and feel comfortable with. Everything starts with a home visit and an honest conversation about what would genuinely help. The plan is written plainly and reviewed as needs change.
