About Advantage Healthcare - and South East
We provide care at home across London and the south east, working from Lewisham. Our work is straightforward to describe and particular in the doing: we send trained carers to people who need help to manage at home, and we fit that help around the life somebody already has. No two arrangements look the same. Some people need a visit or two a day for help with personal care, meals and medication. Others need a good deal more, including support through the night, or care that allows them to stay at home when the alternative would be a move they do not want. We talk through what is needed with the person and whoever else they want involved, agree a plan and then keep checking that it still fits. Continuity is the part we work hardest at. Care at home only goes well when the person and the carer know each other, and in a city where people are used to seeing somebody different every week that takes real effort. Our carers are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and can reach a senior colleague whenever they want advice. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. If you are looking into care at home for yourself or someone close to you, please get in touch. We will be honest about what we can take on and what we cannot.
