About Ethicare
Ethicare provides home care to people living in Pudsey and the surrounding parts of Leeds. We support people in their own homes so that they can go on living in the place they know, among their own things, on their own terms. What that looks like differs from one household to the next. For some people it is a single visit that makes the morning manageable. For others it is several calls a day covering personal care, medication, meals and the practical tasks that have become difficult. For some it is support for a limited period after illness or a hospital stay, with the aim of stepping back again once confidence returns. We would always rather help somebody regain independence than build a package they do not need. We plan each arrangement with the person and, where they want it, with their family. We keep the group of carers visiting a household as small as we can manage, since knowing who is coming through the door matters, and familiar staff are the ones who notice when something has changed. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are considering support at home, we are happy to talk it through without pressure.
