Our carers are trained, checked and introduced before they start, and families are welcome to meet them rather than be sent a name. There is always somebody to speak to outside office hours. A problem at seven in the evening should not have to wait until Monday. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather say so plainly than write around it. Families are welcome to ask how we recruit, train and check the carers we send, and to meet them before any care begins.
