About Alliance Community Home Care

For the younger adults we support, the job is usually to make independence workable rather than to take things over. This is hill country with villages scattered through it, so we plan rounds honestly rather than promising times we cannot keep. A fair number of the people we see live some way from their nearest neighbour, which means our knock may be the only one that day, and we treat that as part of the job. Visits run from half an hour upwards and cover personal care, medicines, meals, housework, shopping, appointments and company. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
