Everything begins with a visit rather than a price list. We sit down with the person, and with family if that is what they want, and work out what has become difficult, what is still manageable and what kind of help would genuinely fit their day. The plan comes from that conversation and gets revised as things change rather than sitting untouched until a review falls due. What we provide might be a single morning call to get somebody washed, dressed and fed, or several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals and keeping a household running. For a fair number of the people we visit, the company is the part of the call that matters most, and we count that as part of the job. We keep the same carers going to the same people as far as the rota allows, and our staff are trained and properly supervised. We work with district nurses, GPs and social workers.
