About Opieka Limited Office
Opieka provides care and support in people's own homes across Hull and the surrounding area. We work with older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, people with learning disabilities and autistic people, people with physical disabilities or loss of sight or hearing, and people managing mental health conditions. The common thread is that everyone we visit has chosen to stay at home, and our task is to make that choice sustainable. We fit the support to the person rather than offering a fixed menu. We think carefully about who we send. Being helped to wash is an intimate business and it is far easier when the person helping is someone you know and have chosen to trust, so we keep the same small teams with the same people wherever the rota allows. Care plans are agreed with the person, written plainly, and changed when circumstances change. Families are involved as much as the person wants and no more.
