About 24/7 Exceptional care

We provide care to people in their own homes across Hull. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia or a mental health condition, people with a physical disability, and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Home care is a simple idea that is difficult to do well. Somebody needs to arrive when they said they would, know what they are doing, know the person they are visiting, and notice when something has changed. That is the whole job, and it is where we put our attention. Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals and drinks, help around the house and with shopping, and support to get out to appointments or simply out of the front door for a while. Some people want us briefly each morning, others need support through the day, and plenty of arrangements sit somewhere in between. We agree the shape of it with the person, and with family where they want that, then adjust it as circumstances change. We keep teams small and consistent, because a familiar carer notices when today is not a normal day, and that early noticing is often what keeps somebody safely at home rather than in hospital.
