About Homecare Alliance
Homecare Alliance provides care and support to people in their own homes across Islington and the surrounding parts of London. In a busy city it is easy for people to slip out of view, and part of our job is simply to be the reliable knock at the door. We support older adults with personal care, medication, meals and the practical tasks of the week. We support people living with dementia, where familiar carers arriving at familiar times do more good than anything else on offer. We also work with adults who have a learning disability or who are autistic, people living with a physical disability, adults managing mental health conditions, and younger adults who want support that fits around their own plans. Every arrangement starts with a proper conversation about what would genuinely help, including practical matters such as language, food, faith and who the person wants involved in decisions. We agree the plan together, write it down and review it as things change. Our carers are checked before they start, trained for the work they carry out and supported by senior staff who are available when advice is needed. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, which we take as the standard we are expected to keep meeting. If you would like to talk about care at home in this part of London, please get in touch. We are glad to visit, listen properly and explain clearly what we could arrange.
