About Care Champions London
Care Champions London is a home care agency in Romford, supporting people in their own homes across Havering and the surrounding boroughs. We work with older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia and people who have a physical disability. Nearly everybody we meet at a first visit says the same thing: they want to stay in their own home. Making that realistic for as long as it is safe and genuinely the better option is the whole of our purpose. In practice it means help to get up, washed and dressed in a way that leaves a person feeling like themselves, medication managed and recorded properly, meals actually cooked, help to move safely about a house that may no longer suit its occupant, and a reliable person turning up in a week that could otherwise hold very little. For families who have been carrying a situation alone, it also means a proper break. We are stubborn about sending the same carers to the same people. That continuity is the mechanism rather than the presentation: a carer who knows somebody notices the untouched food, the new bruise, the change in mood or the pile of unopened post. For people living with dementia, familiarity and an unhurried pace work better than explanation. For people with a physical disability, we learn how that individual wants to be helped to move. The Care Quality Commission has not yet given us an overall rating. Call us and we will be plain about what we can do.

More about the care at Care Champions London
Dementia Care at Care Champions London
An agency this new carries no inspection judgement, and this one reached the register in September 2026. Dementia care is on its registration, and it says familiarity and an unhurried pace work better than explanation. It describes itself as stubborn about sending the same carers to the same people, calling continuity the mechanism rather than the presentation. A carer who knows somebody notices the untouched food, the new bruise or the change in mood, by its account. Ask how that continuity holds up through holidays and sickness. Ask how distress is handled and how visits are reviewed as dementia advances.
Home Care at Care Champions London
Rates in London for home care run from about £30 to £36 an hour, a guide rather than this agency's quoted price. Havering council handles assessments and any funding for residents of the borough. Because care is bought by the visit, weekly cost follows the number of calls and their length. The agency also mentions a proper break for families who have been carrying a situation alone. Five categories of care sit on the registration, which is a broad remit for a new agency. Ask about minimum visit lengths, how rotas are arranged and what notice a change requires.
Older Person Care at Care Champions London
The CQC registered Care Champions London on 23 September 2026, so no rating exists for it yet. Older person care at home is on that registration, covering Havering and the boroughs around Romford. The agency says nearly everyone it meets at a first visit wants to stay in their own home, and that making that realistic is the whole of its purpose. In practice it lists help to get up, washed and dressed, medication managed and recorded properly, and meals actually cooked. Ask how early and how late calls can be arranged and who steps in for an absent carer. Ask whether anything is offered overnight, because rounds usually finish with a bedtime visit.
Younger Adults at Care Champions London
Romford and the boroughs around it make up this agency's working area. Younger adults are on its registration, and someone under 65 usually needs support fitted around work, study or their own plans. The agency's own description is built mostly around older people and dementia, so flexibility is what to check. Ask how far visit times can move and how often the plan is reviewed.
Physical Disability at Care Champions London
Havering would assess needs and may fund equipment or adaptations. Physical disability is on this agency's registration, and help to move safely about a house that may no longer suit its occupant is among the tasks listed. Since visits happen in someone's own home, hoists and rails belong to the household rather than the agency. Ask how carers are trained in moving and handling and how risks are recorded.
