We work with older people and with younger adults, and our experience takes in dementia, learning disabilities and autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and sight and hearing loss. We assess at home, agree the plan with the person and their family, and alter it when circumstances alter rather than when a review falls due. Where a person is living with dementia we pay particular attention to timing and familiarity, because the same care at the wrong hour from an unfamiliar face can be far harder to accept. Our carers are trained for the needs they meet, checked before they visit anyone, and supervised properly. We keep families informed and we raise concerns early rather than hoping they resolve themselves. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall, and we are happy to talk things through with anyone considering care at home.
