About Ohio Home Care
Ohio Home Care supports people in their own homes in London, in and around Hammersmith and Fulham. We exist so that people can stay where they are settled, among their own belongings and their own neighbours, with the help they need arriving at times that suit them. A great deal of our work is with older adults. That can mean a short visit to help with washing, dressing and medication, help with meals and shopping, or longer visits for people who need more company and closer support. We work with people living with dementia, where the single most useful thing we provide is a familiar person who is not in a hurry and who knows how this individual likes things done. We support people with physical disabilities, helping with personal care, moving about safely and getting out of the house, and we support younger adults whose lives are organised around work, study or family and who need care that fits around those things rather than dictating them. We aim to keep the same small team visiting each person. Familiarity is what allows our staff to notice when something has changed, often before anybody else does.
