About Greatful Care
We are Greatful Care, and we support adults in their own homes in Hammersmith and Fulham and the surrounding parts of west London. Our visits range from a single short call each day through to several hours of support, arranged to fit the person's routine rather than our rota. We help older people with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and the household jobs that become harder with time. We support adults living with dementia, and here we put real weight on continuity, because a familiar voice at the door achieves more than any amount of paperwork. We also support people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss, adapting how we communicate and assist so that the person stays in charge of their own day. Some of those we support are younger adults working towards greater independence. Nothing begins without a visit and a conversation at home, with family or an advocate present if that is wanted. We agree what the calls are for, what must never be missed and what the person would rather manage alone, and we write it down and review it.
