About Unique Care UK
We provide care at home across Hackney and the surrounding parts of London. We support older people, younger adults, people living with dementia or mental health conditions, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people with physical disabilities, people affected by sight or hearing loss and people living with eating disorders. Every package we arrange starts with a proper conversation rather than a form. What time does the person actually want to be up? What do they want help with and what would they rather do themselves? Who else is involved, and what are the family already covering? From there we build visits that fit the life someone already has. Support might mean help with washing, dressing and medicines, cooking and eating, mobility, shopping and housework, or getting to appointments and out into the community. Where we support someone with an eating disorder, we work closely with their clinical team and follow the plan they have agreed, offering encouragement and consistency at mealtimes without pressure or scrutiny that would make things harder. We put real effort into sending the same carers. Familiarity is not a small comfort in this work. It is how someone comes to be trusted, and how they notice that a person is not themselves today.
