About Umbrella Health Care
Umbrella Health Care provides support at home to adults in Hackney and the surrounding parts of east London. The people we work with include older people who need help to stay in their own houses, adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, people living with an eating disorder and younger adults who need support to live independently. That is a wide range, and it only works because support is built around the individual rather than issued as a standard package. What an older person needs first thing in the morning has very little in common with what an autistic adult running their own household wants from us, and we plan and staff accordingly. The practical work covers personal care, support and prompting with medication, meals, household tasks, shopping and help to get out and about. Hackney is a varied borough and the people we support come from many different backgrounds, which shapes practical things such as food and language. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk about what would help.
