About Ral Community Care
Ral Community Care provides care in people's own homes in Greenwich and the surrounding parts of London. We support older people, adults living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions, people with a physical disability, and younger adults. Almost everyone who contacts us wants the same thing, which is to carry on living where they are. Home is where the routines make sense and where somebody still has charge of their own day, and our job is to make that workable for as long as it safely can be. That looks different for each person. It might be a short call each morning to help with washing, dressing and medication. It might be several visits across the day covering personal care, meals, prompting and company. For a younger adult it is often support that keeps a tenancy, a job or a college course going. We agree the shape of the support with the person rather than handing them a standard package, and we review it honestly when things change instead of letting an old arrangement run on. Continuity is what we plan our rotas around. The same small group of carers visiting the same person makes personal care easier to accept, and it means somebody who knows them notices early when they are unwell. Ral Community Care does not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Please ring us and ask whatever you need to before deciding.
