About Pats Care
We provide care at home across Greenwich and the surrounding parts of London. We support older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people with physical disabilities and people affected by sight or hearing loss. Our starting point is always the person's own routine. Before we agree anything we sit down with them and, if they wish, their family, and work out what genuinely needs doing and at what time of day. For some that is a short morning call covering washing, dressing and medicines. For others it is several visits a day taking in meals, mobility, shopping, housework and company, or a fuller package that makes staying at home possible when it otherwise would not be. We are careful about who we send. People should recognise the person at their door, and a carer who has been coming for months already knows how someone takes their tea, which hip is painful and what an unsettled morning looks like. That knowledge cannot be written down in full, and it vanishes if the rota treats staff as interchangeable. We review support as needs change and talk honestly with families about what home care can manage safely and when other help is needed. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are considering support for yourself or a relative, please get in touch and we will explain plainly what we could offer.
