About Roky Care
Roky Care provides support at home for people living in Enfield, north London. Our work is mainly with adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, younger adults and people managing mental ill health, supporting them to live in their own homes rather than in a placement arranged for them. That kind of support is rarely about doing things for somebody. More often it is about being alongside a person while they do things themselves, at their own pace, and gradually stepping back. It can mean help with personal care and medication, support with money, appointments, shopping and travel, or simply the reassurance of somebody reliable being there. We should be open about our regulatory position. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We accept those findings rather than dispute them, and acting on them is the priority for our management team. We would much rather tell you that ourselves and answer your questions than have you find it out later. What we expect of our staff day to day remains the same. We learn how each person communicates rather than expecting them to fit in with us, we keep routines predictable, we give warning before anything changes and we pay attention to the early signs that a day is going badly. If you are looking into support at home in Enfield, please get in touch and ask us whatever you need to, including about our rating.
