About Aran Homes
Aran Homes provides support to people in their own homes across Enfield and the surrounding parts of London. We work with adults who are living with a mental health condition, mainly younger adults, helping them to live independently with the right support behind them. Our approach is to support people to run their own lives rather than to run their lives for them. We ask what somebody wants their week to look like, what they manage well themselves and where help would make a real difference, then we build support around those answers. That might be help with household tasks, budgeting, cooking, medication, appointments and getting out into the community, or it might be someone reliable to talk things through with. Support is planned with each person rather than decided for them. We talk about what helps, what makes things harder, what the early signs look like when things are becoming difficult and what they would like us to do. That plan belongs to the person and is revisited as things change. We work closely with community mental health teams and GPs so that support is consistent, and we keep the team around each person small so that people are not forever explaining themselves to somebody new. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk about support.
