We are a home care agency working in Rotherham and across the Doncaster area, supporting people in their own homes. Our aim is to make everyday life manageable again, which often turns out to hinge on a handful of small practical things rather than anything dramatic. We support older people, adults living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, and younger adults. Dementia is a large part of what we do, and it has taught us the value of consistency. The same carer at the same time, doing things in the same order, in a home where nothing has been rearranged, makes a genuine difference to how a person copes. Where we can protect that, we do. Our support covers personal care, help with medication, meals, shopping and keeping a household ticking over, along with the company that comes with a regular visit. For some of the people we see, ours is the only knock at the door that day, and we do not treat that part of the job as incidental to the rest. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. Rather than talk around that, we would say plainly that we are a newer service and we expect to be judged on what families and the regulator find. We are glad to answer questions, arrange a visit and introduce the carers who would be coming.
