About Living For Life Cumbria
We provide care and support at home for people across Workington and the wider west Cumbrian coast. The people we support are varied. Older people, including many living with dementia, adults with a learning disability or autism, people managing a mental health condition, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Our support is agreed with the person and shaped around the life they want to carry on living. For some that means help with washing, dressing, medication and meals. For others it means support to keep a home running, to get out and about, to manage appointments, or simply to have somebody dependable turning up in the week. Distances are long in this part of Cumbria and public transport is thin, which can leave people cut off well before their health does. We plan our visits with that in mind and we are realistic about timings rather than promising what we cannot deliver. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated the service Good. If you are looking for support at home in Workington or the surrounding towns and villages, please contact us. We will come out, listen to what would genuinely help, and be honest with you about what we can provide.
