We are Mercury Care, based at Thornton Heath in Croydon, and we provide care in people's own homes across south London. The people we visit are a deliberately wide group: older people, many living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, adults living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, younger adults, people living with an eating disorder, and people dealing with problems with alcohol or drugs. For people in recovery, and for those living with an eating disorder or with mental ill health, that reliability often counts for more than any particular task. Support may cover personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping, paperwork and getting out into the community. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
