About Cegla Care
We are Cegla Care, a home care agency supporting adults across Coventry. Our purpose is simple enough: to provide the help that allows someone to carry on living in their own home, without taking over the running of it. Most of the people we visit are older adults, and many are living with dementia. We also support people with physical disabilities and younger adults who need assistance with personal care, medication, meals, keeping the house in order and getting out and about. For some that is one call a day and for others it is a series of visits from morning until bedtime. We try to keep the same workers going to the same people. Familiarity does a great deal of the work in home care: someone who knows you notices the change in you, and someone you know is easier to accept help from in the first place. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. While that is the case, the most useful thing you can do is ask us direct questions about how we work, how we check on our staff and what happens when things do not go to plan.
