We are We Support, based in Northwich and providing support in people's own homes to adults with a learning disability and to autistic adults. We have kept our focus deliberately narrow. We take time to learn how each person tells us what they want, whether that is through speech, signs, pictures or the way they respond to something, and we make sure every worker understands it before supporting that person alone. We take real care over who supports whom, and we keep those arrangements steady, because this depends on trust far more than on procedure.
