We are here so that people can stay in the place they know, keep their own habits and remain part of their own street and community, with help arriving when it is actually useful to them. Most of our work is with older adults. Depending on what somebody needs, that might be a short call to help with washing, dressing and medication, help with meals and shopping, or longer visits for people who need closer support and company through the day. We would always rather change a plan that has stopped fitting than keep it going because it was what we agreed at the start, so we check in and adjust as things move. We also support younger adults who need care at home. Their weeks tend to be organised around work, study, family or simply having a life of their own, and support should work around those things rather than dominate them. Wherever we can, we send the same small group of care workers to each person, because familiarity is what allows somebody to relax and what allows our staff to notice a change early. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Please contact us and ask us anything before you make a decision.
