About Frontal Care
Frontal Care provides support in people's own homes in Huntingdon and across Cambridgeshire. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. That is a broad range of need, and rather than simply list it we would sooner explain how we handle it. Every arrangement starts with a proper conversation about what somebody actually wants help with, what they can manage perfectly well themselves and how they want things done in their own home. Some people want brisk, efficient visits and nothing more; others want somebody who will sit and talk for ten minutes. Both are legitimate and we plan accordingly. Consistency is what we work hardest at. We build small, settled teams around each person and keep changes to a minimum, because a familiar face at the door changes the whole feel of a visit. For people living with dementia that familiarity does more good than anything else we could promise. Where we support autistic adults, people with learning disabilities and younger adults, the emphasis is on enabling rather than doing, and we plan around work, college, travel and family life rather than around our rota. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
